As earlier discussed, dopamine (a neurochemical) is responsible for pleasure. It is released from a region at the bottom of the brain called the VTA. The VTA, in turn, is from the 'reptilian core' of the brain, or the brain's "reward" system.
Okay, so what?
...Well, here's the good part:
Cocaine acts through this same process.
Blood pressure rises and dopamine is released.
Love and cocaine work the same way and therefore the effects of falling in love can be strongly related to taking cocaine.
P.S. Hugs not drugs! Same feeling, different consequences.
